I used a different one to scrape some tartar off my dog's teeth. I only did a little at a time so he didn't get upset. He seemed to take it well. I brush his teeth several times per week but he still gets some tartar build-up on a couple back teeth.

The last experience of having his teeth cleaned at the vet didn't go so well. He was throwing up and had diarhhea the next day so I don't want to go through that again. The tools are nice but, don't advertise a completely different case and then send me a cheap plastic case.

The case was opened, my mirror tool was dirty and looked used. I'm very disappointed in this product. The tool set is great quality in itself however it does not come with the nice case.

It comes in a cheap plastic case as shown in the picture. I had been searching for these dental tools for quite awhile. If you have dogs like mine who will stay still, let you brush and pick at their teeth this is a great dental kit for only 10 dollars. Items work great and seem to be of excellent quality. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the kit comes in a blue plastic case instead of the black and red one shown on the site.

They seem to be well made. However, I cannot use them because my dogs won't let me. What was I thinking?! I was hoping to improve their dental hygiene.
