In reply to Franklyn K. Franklyn - If you're going to reinstall then be sure to follow the steps in the tutorial I linked above which has no reported issues. Make sure during the booted install to follow the illustrated steps to delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space to get it cleanest, then click Next to let it auto-create the needed partitions, format them and begin install - this makes it foolproof. This will bring Internet Explorer back to its original place.
