Since this is not a large area it's very easy to find. First go near the door with the round circle in it it's the only door in the place. Pick up the 4th Hieroglyphic piece lying to the left of the door. You can inspect the door now if you want, but you will need to return later to open it. Next, go to the pond with the fireflies above it and get the Prince Loofalava statue that sits to the right of the pond.
Go around and pick up all of the stones. If you have the tools you need, harvest Obsidian. If not, don't sweat it! Head to the second pathway to the right of the 3 small ponds. You will see a small path leading up hill with 2 small pillars at the bottom and Silver Feet at the top.
Once you've rested just sleep in cave using your Sleeping Mat , explore here next. On the ground slightly to the left of the face is your 5th Hieroglyphic piece. Pick it up. Hug the rock wall and head to the left of the face until you find the clay deposit. Harvest clay. Harvest everything in the area — especially Sisal as you need this to make Rope and Twine. When you've finished, locate the grassy trail with the Silver Feet above it. It should be just about perfectly opposite the Skull Face. Take this trail to the West River Plains.
New Shelters and Farming Tools are also unlocked. I found my 2nd crewmate here. Get Chicken Feathers from the ground when a chicken runs off. The first time you collect the feathers new clothing plans are unlocked. Build a Chicken Trap and Trap a chicken. It may take a while after you've set the trap to actually trap one. You just have to keep trying. I would trap more than one so you can use one to eat and use one to harvest eggs.
You will be able to build a chicken coop later on and harvest the eggs from it. There are a lot of new fruits here. When you're ready to move on to the next area you have 2 choices: craft a bridge or climb. If you wish to climb — go to the Silver Feet to your right and climb done. This takes a lot of energy away from you though. If you wish to craft a bridge then go to the Silver Feet on your left.
Approach the stones and select Craft Bridge. Crafting the bridge builds your Mechanical level and requires less energy to cross. This is the route I take. If you don't have rope yet, build a Crafting Bench and craft some here so you don't have to return to the beach. There's Sisal in this area too if you need it. Note you cannot cross here yet due to the quicksand. Face the pillars then look left just past the Sisal plant. It's your 6th Hieroglyphic piece.
Grab it. In this area you will meet a Wild Boar. Follow him or stand in his way and he will fight you. If you win you get plans for Boar clothes and a scarecrow unlocked, the Hunt a Boar goal completed, and a big fat ham to eat!
Cut away the vines then walk a step or 2 forward until you see the Transmitter. Put it in your inventory. Proceed straight past the plane to the small shoreline, take 1 step into the water and look to your left. You will see your 7th Hieroglyphic piece lying in the water. Now look back along the shoreline to your right.
You will see the Princess Loofalava statue on the other end of the beach. Go pick it up. Head back to the plane and take the path to the right with the Silver Feet. This leads to East Beach. Harvest all you can from this area then head on to East Beach. You have also unlocked new plans for Home Decorations and Musical Instruments.
This is also where I found my final crewmate. Go to the far right side of the beach where you see what looks like a pile of sand and pick up all of the Stones. If you have a hammer and chisel you can harvest the Pumice sand pile now. If not either craft a bench and make the tools or just come back later to get it.
Once you've harvested all you can from the beach, inspect either of the stone pillars. It gives you a new goal of getting to the volcano and unlocks plans for a canoe. When able, craft the canoe, rest up, and then head for the Volcano.
Your crewmates will automatically follow so don't worry about them. New shelter plans are unlocked and you receive the Biscuit Isle book with new goals.
Go to the far right side of the island and look behind small boulder with the pink and yellow flowers in front of it. There you will find the 4th and final statue — the Queen Loofalava statue. This completes the "Find the 4 Statues" goal. It would be a good idea to go ahead and build a small shelter, beds, fire pit, and home tiki here so your crewmates can maintain themselves and not die. If a crewmate does die go to their grave it will look like a rock and mourn.
Once you do that you will be able to pick the Death Daisy. Harvest all you can from here then explore up the hill to Volcano Jungle. Circle around the path until you see the beehives, then focus on the small ledge behind them. There's a hot spring there. Climb the small hill that leads to the ledge and head towards the hot spring. About halfway there on your left is your 8th Hieroglyphic piece. Once you have that, go get into the hot spring.
You will find a piece to the Treasure Map. Get out of the hot spring. You've now completed the "Find the Hot Spring" goal. Harvest everything in this area including the Honeycomb from the beehive. To do this you must have the Torch. This will allow you to first Smoke Out the bees. If you don't you will only get stung and no honeycomb! Once you are through continue on to the Geyser Plains.
Just to the left on the ground is the final Hieroglyphic piece. The Hieroglyphic Stele plan is now unlocked. When these are later forged together they fit inside the rectangular space you see on the door and a new path opens.
Once you've finished harvesting everything in the area head to the cliff by the steam geysers and Silver Feet. You will notice you cannot yet pass here. Just to the right of the Silver Feet is a small path leading up a small hill with a large boulder on top.
Approach the boulder and choose "Inspect. If not, go craft it. Your Sim will chisel the rock so it falls below to cover the geyser so you can pass. Now head back down to the feet and you will see you can now pass. Rest up then head to Volcano Overlook. It's the largest area in the game where you have room to build the largest house the Bungalow Mansion. It also has a lot of area for planting a garden, building a chicken coop, and a lot of foot to harvest.
It also has a beach nearby and an awesome view! Harvest everything in this area, place a chicken trap, then explore. There are 3 paths to choose from. For now you should go to the Ancient Stairway. Before going up stairs to the temple, go to the right and harvest everything there. Then return to the stairs and head straight across to the Ancient Theater. It's the Ceremonial Platform. Select "Explore" to perform the Ceremonial Cliff Dive.
Once you complete the dive it will tell you that you found a piece of the Treasure Map but a Shark ate half of it.
Swim to shore and fish until you catch a Shark and retrieve the Map Piece. Harvest all you can then go through the opening near the Ancient Pier. Ignore the Ancient Pier for now. There are 2 ways to get the hieroglyphics in The Sims 2 Castway: 1-Collect all of them yourself[below are the areas that you can find the hieroglyphics] Shipwreck Island- 1-Deep Jungle: across from the skeleton[i think] 2-Shipwreck Lagoon: on the ship 3-Pier Beach: by the pier Airplane Island- 4-Dark Cave: by the acient door 5-Skull Rock Jungle: by the skull rock[duh] 6-East River Plains: by the 2 acient stones 7-South River Jungle: on the opposite side of the royal statue Volcano Island- 8-Volcano Jungle: on the cliff with the hot spring 9-Geyser Plains: by the acient door Or the 2nd way: Collect 1 then max your inventory to Then when you collect the '2nd' one, a note will pop up telling you that you found all hyroglipics and that you can mount a wall-sized version in your home.

To fill all motives without any cheats, use the radio transmitter to send an SOS on crystal island. To get Crystal Island, make it to the volcano summit on the third island. There should be a crater looking area with 3 swarms of glowing bugs around it. Set the radio there and attach the transmitter, and send an SOS. The Cheat Gnome appears at different locations, depending on which island you are on.
Start your game and then go to 'Fashion and Grooming' on the Pause menu. Build a workbench. Craft a spear at the crafting table. Catch a fish with the spear. Build a simple campfire using the plans from your inventory. Cook your fish and eat it.
Make your way to the destination feet icon heading towards the Deep Jungle and start up the pathway. You will go through the brambles, which will cut your sim's clothing, and enter the Deep Jungle.
Entering the jungle will unlock the ability to craft clothing for your sim. Swing on some vines and pet a monkey! Here, you will be able to befriend our primate friends. Inorder to befriend a monkey however, you must have a banana in your inventory. Click on a monkey and select "give banana" from the selection menu and the monkey will take the banana and that will unlock the Social motive and the ability to socialize with the monkey which in turn will give you the opportunity to make them your friends.
We know, it's a viscious cycle of goodyness! We strongly suggest you do this, because the more monkey friends you have, the more resources they will gather for you. Special Resources available to be harvested in the Deep Jungle are: 1. Vines 2. Softwood must have clam axe inorder to harvest Harvest the vines first. After harvesting vines, head back to 1st Beach, go to the crafting table and craft yourself the Clam Axe. The Clam Axe will enable you to harvest the softwood.
After you've completed the axe crafting, head back into the Deep Jungle and harvest yourself Soft Wood and anything else you can harvest while there. There will be skeleton in the bushes, don't worry about him it can't hurt you.
He's merely sleeping.. A Heiroglyphic Piece can be found near the near the fireflies glowing bugs. After completing the harvesting of resources, head towards Pier Beach which you will see the path desginated by the rotating feet. You will also find the second Heiroglyphic Piece on the beach by the pier. While here, harvest and collect all the resources you can such as clam shells, driftwood, food etc.
Walk over to the pier and click on "Inspect Pier". This will unlock the plans to build a raft. You may be missing some resource as you will need 50 pieces of bamboo, 30 vines and 10 Palm Fonds which can be found by harvesting them off of coconut trees.
You will also need, 2 mechanical skills and 2 body skills to craft the raft. Find and inspecting the bottles that wash up on the beach here is very important because one of them will contain a treasure map piece. If by some chance, the bottle s are not there when you first arrive, keep exiting and re-entering pier beach until they appear.
Items able to be identified: Ginger, blackberries and almonds. The important part to this area is the ship. Head over to the ship and get aboard the ship and onto the deck. Here is where you will find the third Heiroglyphic Piece.
For convenience purposes, you can build another workbench for crafting if you so choose to. It's not mandatory but it will help out with the traveling distance to craft items.
We're done here, so it's time to head back to Pier Beach and build your raft, if you haven't built it already, because we're heading to island 2! Please note, inorder to leave the island, your sim must have a full energy meter. Also, we highly recommend you build a home camp on either of the two beaches West or East and befriended a chimp. They will leave packages around for you to inspect. Make sure to collect all of the packages they bring you as one will contain a treasure map piece.
You can make the home camp anywhere but your transportation will be at either of the beaches and this is just more convenient. In airplane jungle you will find the entrance to the dark cave, this is a great place to sleep if you dont have the ability to craft a shelter yet. There is obsidian in the cave but you wont be able to harvest it just yet.
Make sure you have a torch though because later it will show you where the obsidian is hiding. You will find another Heiroglyphic Piece on the floor beside the ancient door. The ancient door is very cool but you wont be able to open it yet so dont bother wasting your time staring at it, we will tell you later when you have the ability to open the door. Over beside one of the pools is another statue, add it to your collection. In the back of the cave is a steep passage to skull rock jungle but again your sim will need high energy to climb up.
In the jungle you will find another Heiroglyphic Piece laying beside the skull rock. The jungle is loaded with resources harvest to your hearts content, you will find grapefruit and oranges and a clay deposit where you can harvest some clay for future use. Harvest some Ti leaves as this will unlock the ability to craft Ti clothing.
Watch out for wild boars they are running wild on the island. If one spots you then you will have to fight it, the good news is that if you win the fight you will have a yummy ham. Harvest sisal - you will need this material to craft rope and trust us you will need a lot of rope.
You will also be able to identify garlic and harvest tomatoes. Here you will find "Moneywell's Big Book of Surival 2" - oh goodie more goals, these ones include: 1. Plant a Crop 2. Harvest a Crop 3. Harvest an Egg 4.

If you dont have these resources you can always crawl across the casum but this takes alot of energy. There is hardwood and you will need the stone axe to harvest it, harvesting hardwood will unlock the hardwood crafting bench.
Time to head to East River Plains. You will notice another entrance behind the quicksand but you cant get to it yet so again dont waste time looking at it, we will tell you later when you can return here to enter. You will find another crashed airplane, harvest the vines in front of it because they are hiding a radio transmitter you can use to send an sos to be rescued - but again not just yet.
Why rush being rescued?? Walk over the the ancient pier and inspect it, this will unlock the ability to craft a canoe.
